The Setting
The Mornington Peninsula is both a desirable and prestigious seaside location for the memorable Wedding! Norwood House in Mt Eliza has been designed specifically for Weddings.
The imposing Corinthian columns and Tuscany warmth provide a glamorous setting for the “grand entrance”. The beautiful gardens and lawns over the 2 acre property provide numerous photographic opportunities. Gazebos, ponds and waterfall provide beautiful, tranquil and elegant surrounds for the perfect day. The elegant Reception Room with it’s magnificent parquetry dance floor all combine to provide the setting for wonderful experience.
The Management
The Managers at Norwood House are the Owners- Ida and Chris and are well renowned for their performance in the hospitality industry, over many years. From your initial contact through all the planning stages THEY are the ones you deal with – and THEY will be there on the day to ensure that all of the planning is carried out.
Ida is involved in all the planning and puts the needs of the Bridal couple first. No demand or requests are too much for Ida who ensures that the Bridal couple receive all the support, encouragement and professional direction they require to achieve their Bridal vision.
Chris with his acclaimed Hotel Management career of 40 years, including the successful completion of the America’s Cup Ball for over 2,000 guests, ensures that the food and alcohol service is of the highest standards.
The Venue
The Reception Centre is complimented with fifteen regularly upgraded, self-contained Motel style rooms.
A complimentary Spa Bridal Suite with a queen-size four poster bed is included in all of the Norwood House Wedding Packages for the Bride and Groom to stay on their Wedding Night.
All of the other rooms are kept for sale for the Wedding guests only.
This is an excellent opportunity for interstate/overseas guests to stay where the Reception is being held and for relatives and friends to make a weekend of the occasion. It takes away the pressures of “who is the designated driver”, allowing all guests to consume alcohol and enjoy the day to the fullest.
Likewise this leads to an extension of the Wedding Ceremony to the following day where the newlyweds can enjoy breakfast with all of their guests.
Breakfast is included in the Wedding Package for the Bride and Groom and is just $29.00 per person for a full English Breakfast for Wedding guests and friends.
The Accommodation
All available rooms are first offered for sale to the Bridal couple’s guests allowing revellers to enjoy the night to the fullest.
Rooms start from as little as $155 per night for a King Room and $230 per night for a Spa Suite.
