The Mornington Peninsula is both a desirable and prestigious seaside location for the memorable Wedding! Norwood House Receptions in Mt Eliza has been designed specifically for Weddings.

The imposing Corinthian columns and Tuscany warmth provide a glamorous setting for the “grand entrance.’ The beautiful gardens and lawns over the 2 acre property provide numerous photographic opportunities. Gazebos, ponds and waterfall over rocks, provide beautiful, tranquil and elegant surrounds for the perfect day. The elegant Reception Room with it’s magnificent and large parquetry Dance Floor all combine to provide the setting

The Management

The Managers at Norwood House are the Owners- Ida and Chris. They are also well renowned for their performance in the hospitality industry, over many years. From initial contact through all the planning stages THEY are the ones you deal with – and THEY will be there on the day to ensure that all of the planning is carried out.

Ida is involved totally in the planning and the needs of the Bride. No demand or requests are too much for Ida who ensures that the Bride receives every possible support, encouragement and professional direction to achieve each Bride’s personal vision.

Chris ensures that the food and alcohol service, is of the highest standards- his Hotel Management career of 40 years, ensures that this area of the Reception day, is in good hands. His feats, since returning to Australia, include the successful completion of the America’s Cup Ball for over 2000 guests

The Venue

The Reception Centre is complimented with fifteen newly renovated, self-contained Motel style rooms.

A complimentary Spa Bridal Suite with a queen-size four poster bed is included in all of NHR Wedding Packages for the Bride and Groom to stay on their Wedding Night.

All of the other rooms are kept for sale to Wedding guests only.

This is an excellent opportunity for interstate/overseas guests to stay where the Reception is being held. Also for relatives and friends to make a weekend of the occasion. It takes away the pressures of “who is the designated driver”, allowing all parties to consume alcohol and enjoy the day to the fullest.

Likewise this leads to an extension of the Wedding Ceremony to the following day.

Breakfast with all of your guests. This is included in the Package for the Bride and Groom, and only $19.00 per person for a Full English Breakfast for your Wedding Guests and Friends.

Accommodation is lovely – newly renovated rooms with all amenities.

The Accommodation

All available rooms are first offered, for sale to guests attending the Wedding.

Most wedding evenings, the entire accommodation is booked by Wedding guests, which allows revellers to enjoy the night, to the fullest.

Rooms start from as little as $130 per nt for a King Room and go up to $205 per nt for a Spa Suite.

So the occasion of staying over, is not an overly expensive item

The rooms are lovely – recently, totally renovated & refurbished.This provides a good support base for guests attending a Wedding Reception at Norwood House.
